Saskia Beer Chicken Ballontines are made using the whole chicken completely deboned, then stuffed with The Black Pig Prosciutto & Sage stuffing. The traditional stuffing recipe has been in the Beer Family Christmas repertoire for many years and is made with caramelised onion, breadcrumbs, confit, garlic, fresh sage, rosemary, thyme and parsley as well as The Black Pig Prosciutto.
The Chicken is then rolled into either a quarter or half Ballontine which is a sausage like shape that is ready to go straight into the oven, Webber or onto the stove for poaching.
Terrific served as a warm main course – or cold as part of a Christmas Buffet. This is a product where all the hard work and time have been done by someone else, delicious, easy and brings the best of the Barossa to your table.
Please note: Chicken Ballontines are frozen immediately after processing and will be sent frozen by refrigerated courier. Keep frozen until required, when defrosting allow 24-48 hours to defrost in the refrigerator. Chicken Ballontines must be consumed within 7 days after defrosting.

Delivery Windows: Shipments are despatched every Tuesday to arrive in Victoria by Wednesday, Sydney by Thursday - Friday and South Australia Wednesday - Friday.
